  • Ignite Youth:  Ignite Youth will meet Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Ignite Youth is a small group for children in Elementary and Middle School that meets each Sunday afternoon.  Each week, we’ll enjoy games, a lesson and food.  Spread the word!

  • Men’s Chorus:  The Men’s Chorus will practice Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm.

  • Bible Study:  Join us for Bible Study on the book of Genesis each Monday.  Two sessions are offered for your convenience: one at 9:30am and a second at 6:00pm.  No special materials are needed for the study beyond your favorite Bible.  Please invite a friend and join us as we study God’s Word together.   This week’s discussion will focus on chapters 10 & 11.

  • Weekly Prayer Meeting:  Join us for a weekly prayer meeting each Monday beginning at 11:00am.  We’ll pray for the church, our community, our nation and the world.

  • WNC Volunteer Opportunity:  A group of volunteers from Fairfield are planning to go to Boone this Wednesday to help with relief efforts following Hurricane Helene.  This week’s task will be removing fallen trees and shoveling mud out of a home.  Anyone interested in joining the team of volunteers is invited to join the email chain by sending an email to Pastor Billy.

  • Choir practice:  There will be no choir practice this week.  Choir practice will resume next Wednesday.

  • BBQ:  Join us for our Annual BBQ this Saturday, November 2.  We’ll begin serving at 11:00am and serve until 7:00pm, or until we’ve sold out.  Volunteer signup sheets are available in the hallway.  Everyone helping to clean out the BBQ pits and get things ready is asked to meet at the church on Friday at 9:00am.

  • Beale-Culp Wedding Invitation:  Bobby and Lorraine wish to invite the entire church family to their wedding on Saturday, November 9, at 2:00pm in the sanctuary at Fairfield.  A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

  • Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes:  Please consider participating in Samaritan’s Purse’s 2024 Operation Christmas Child.  Plastic shoeboxes are available on the table in the Common’s Area along with brochures about “How to Pack Your Shoebox.”  Pick up a shoebox today and fill it with suggested items for a child this Christmas and return it to the church by November 10.  Please remember, your shoebox gift is an expression of God’s love to a child.  For more info, please contact Debbie Norton.

  • Christmas Trip:  You’re invited to join us on our 2024 Fairfield Family Christmas Trip on Saturday, December 7.  We’ll depart from the church at 12:45pm and travel by motorcoach to Theatre Charlotte for their afternoon matinee performance of Charles Dickens’ classic, “A Christmas Carol.”  After the show, we’ll travel to Golden Corral for a buffet dinner before returning to the church around 7:00pm.  Ticket prices are:

$55 for Adults (ages 13-61);  $48 for Seniors (ages 62 and over);  and $30 for Students (ages 5-12).
