  • Room In The Inn (New Covenant):  New Covenant’s RITI program is this Friday, January 16 - Saturday, January 17.  Anyone interested in volunteering is invited to contact Jan Ledford for details.  If you can’t participate but still want to help, you can visit New Covenant’s Facebook page to see their Amazon Wish List.  Bring your donations to Fairfield by Thursday evening to be delivered on Friday.  See Jan Ledford for details.
  • Pinto Bean Supper:  We will host our next community-wide Pinto Bean Supper on Tuesday, January 20, beginning at 5:30pm.  If you’d like to volunteer in advance, please see Linda Dellinger.  If you’d like to volunteer the day of the event, we will meet in the fellowship hall about 4:00pm. You may also stay afterward to help clean up.  Please invite your friends and neighbors to join us for a wonderful evening of food and fellowship.
  • Discipleship Team:  The Discipleship Team will meet on Thursday, January 22, at 1:30pm in the fellowship hall.
  • New Bible Study:  Join us for a new Bible Study on the book of Daniel beginning Monday, January 26.  Two sessions will be offered for your convenience: one at 9:30am and a second at 6:00pm.  No special materials are needed for the study beyond your favorite Bible.  Please invite a friend and join us as we study God’s Word.
  • Special Missions Presentation:  On Tuesday, January 27, we will host a special missions presentation at 1:30pm with Ben Nobles, founding pastor of the new Tree of Life Church in Sherrill’s Ford.  Ben will be sharing God’s vision for a new church in Sherrill’s Ford and ways Fairfield can join with them in reaching the lost in that community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Everyone is invited to join us for this special presentation and in praying for this new church start.
  • Martha & Mary Circle:  The Martha and Mary Circle will be meeting on Wednesday, January 28, at 10:00am in the fellowship hall.  We will be having our annual "Hot Potatoes on a Cold Winter Day". This is open to all ladies of the church and there are no dues or membership.  There will be a bar with all of the toppings. Sign up sheets are available in the hallway.  We would love to see you there.
  • 2026 Reading Challenge:  The Youth Sunday School class will be reading through the Psalms and Proverbs in 2026 and invite the church to join them on this reading challenge.
  • Children’s Message Volunteers:  Each week Fairfield seeks to offer a short children’s message in the service.  If you’d like to volunteer to deliver one of those messages, you may sign up on the bulletin board in the hallway.   Simply select a brief passage of Scripture from which to teach and offer a simple explanation of the passage or short testimony of how that verse has affected you.
  • Volunteers needed:  The Nurture Team sponsors a visitation team to provide care for members of our church family, including those who are, or have recently been, hospitalized, homebound, or sick at home.  If you’d like to volunteer, please see Anita Sweeney.
